Before You Enter: Physical and Spiritual Purity
The first step is to ensure you are in a state of ritual purity (Wudhu). Dress modestly; for men, long trousers and shirts are recommended, while women are required to wear a chador or a long, loose-fitting manteau and headscarf. Before you reach the shrine's golden gates, pause to recite the specific Ziyarat-e-Aminullah prayer and seek permission (Izn-e-Dukhool) to enter the sacred space, acknowledging the high status of the Imam.
Inside the Holy Shrine
